It turns out that the 21 Day Fix workout is much more popular than many of us expected, and its the reason I am addressing the 21 Day Fix nutrition plan…I am getting more and more questions on the subject as we continue to see these crazy results people are getting in only 21 days.
So lets stop wasting time and get right into the 21 Day Fix nutrition plan overview!
The meal plan is known as the 21 Day Fix Portion Control System. Here’s how it works: Start by calculating a calorie level based on starting weight. Next, find the calorie chart that corresponds with the calorie level. This will indicate the daily allotment of Fix color-coded containers. From there, the Eating Plan shows a list of foods that can be eaten with each color-coded container. Then, just fill the containers with the foods from the list, up to the daily allotment of Fix containers. No required recipes. No required number of meals. No required foods or ingredients. If it fits in the container, it can be eaten!
With the 21 Day Fix, you will get a set of 7 color coded containers, as well as a free Shakeology Cup so that you can get all your nutrition in the right quantities
21 Day Fix has its own simple formula to calculate calorie level. Here is an example:
1. Your current weight in lbs x 11 = ________ This is your caloric baseline.
2. Your caloric baseline + 400 = Your caloric needs. This is caloric baseline + the 400 calorie burn for the 21 day fix workouts.
3. Your caloric needs – 750 = your calorie target. That’s the deficit to create weight loss.
So, if weigh you 150 lbs, your calculation would look like this:
11 x 150 = 1650 Caloric Baseline
1650 + 400 = 2050 Caloric Needs
2050 -750 = 1300 your calorie target.
Then, 21 Day Fix nutrition plan breaks things down into groups from 1200- 1499, 1500-1799, 1800-2099 and 2100-2300. You are given a number of containers of various foods per day, depending on where you fall.
If you fall under 1300 you round up to 1300. If you fall above 2300 you round down to that bracket.
The 21 Day Fix nutrition plan is the meat and potatoes of the program (no pun intended, lol). Which makes sense — your nutrition is 80% of your results!! You get portioned-controlled containers to measure all of your food. The nutrition guide outlines everything so you don’t have to do any kind of mental work with macros and stuff. If it fits in the containers…you can eat it!
The guide also leaves room for a piece of chocolate or a little wine because while it’s a 21 day focused program, the concepts behind the program are NOT meant to be for only 3 weeks. The behaviors learned in the 21 days should become habits you can continue as a healthy lifestyle. There is no starving or eating only celery on this plan, lol.

Overall I think this program and nutrition plan is going to give people an incredibly simple solution to a an incredibly prominent problem! Knowing what to eat and how much to eat of it in order to reach your goals can be confusing and intimidating to even begin planning for.
