Asking “Is P90X enough?” is something we should all be asking ourselves to make sure we have the best chance at success. I have wondered this myself in times past and I am sure that many of you still wonder is P90X is enough to get you into the best shape of your life.
Some of you are probably wondering why I am asking such a stupid question because P90X is the hardest thing you have ever done and cant imagine taking it to the next level.
Bear with me on this one because there is going to be some repetition from articles past, but a lot of people make the mistake of thinking that if they simply do JUST P90X…then they are going to get the results that they see on the infomercials…And that couldnt be farther from the truth.
#1 – Nutrition
You guys have heard me beat this subject to death, but I will continue to shout it from the P90X mountain tops that 80% of your success with P90X is a direct result of how committed you are to your nutrition.
About 25% of people who take on P90X actually complete the full 90 day program. 50% of that 25% follow the nutrition plan…And if I employ my math genius friends…(they do gooder at mathing), they tell me that works out to 12.5% of people who try P90X actually complete the program AND stick to the nutrition plan. This sorta gives you an idea why most peole are not seeing results with P90X.
So what do you do to make sure you stay on track?
#2 – Support
This was one of my primary faults those 7 times I tried to complete P90X and failed miserably…
So many people just arent aware that they need support or they are to stubborn and arrogant to admit they do.
Imagine for a moment that you are planning a trip to climb Mt. Everest. Is that something that you go at alone? Is that a task that you would want to take on with no skill, no experience, and no knowledge of mountain climbing?
So why would you go at achieving a fitness result that you have no experience with, no knowledge of how to get those results, and no one to lead you to the top of the mountain who has been there before? Not if you want out of this world results. Is P90X is enough if you just want to feel better and gain some strength and muscle tone? Sure. But if you want to shed fat, get RIPPED, and be able to perform like an athlete…then you are going to want to ensure that these 2 essentials for success with P90x are foundational in your journey.
