Coach Todd Checking In

Below is an email that you have probably already recieved, but I want to start posting my coach checkins here on my blog so that more people have access to the updates within Beachbody and RIPPEDCLUB. So if you already read through this email…you know whats up. If not…Read on! I will be posting these checkin on my blog as well as sending them to your email each week.

Hey RIPPEDCLUB!

Its been a while, but I have been crazy busy this summer! I bet you have been too…Summer is always my favortie time of year though. All the family get-togethers, the outdorr church functions, bbq’s, parties, swimming – Everything just feels more alive during the summer months to me.

In fact its so nice out right now that I am writing this email while sitting on my back porch! Check out the pic below of my workspace this afternoon.

I hope everyone’s summer is going well though! Have you been staying committed to your goals? Have you decided that right NOW is the time to get healthy and fit. Or have you lost sight of where it is you want to be with your fitness?

I know how hard it can be to stay committed, especially during the summer months with all the bbq’s, parties, and what not that is going on. It seems like we are constantly on the go during the summers months which can really make it difficult to stay on track.

Does that discourage me…ya…I will be honest with you guys that my nutrition is not ALWAYS 100%. Like Tony Horton, about 90%-95% of the time, my nutrition is on point, but there is always the unexpected! You can plan all day long, but the unexpected will always come up eventually.

So how do I deal with it?

When I mess up, I dont dwell on it. I get back in the right mind and get refocused on my goals and move ahead with vigor NOT DWELLING on how I messed up. If you have gone through my 5 day free video bootcamp, then you know how important your mindset is.

So if you mess up…look ahead, learn from your mistake, and plan on how you can avoid that mistake again. THAT is what is going to help you to continue your progress in the direction of your ultimate goal.

It might take longer than you like, but if you stay committed, then eventually you WILL get there. You just need to ask yourself if its worth the wait and sacrifice to get to where you want to be…or it better to just live the way you have been without regard for your health. I can tell you in the long run which of those will be more profitable for you, but I think you know as well.

I know a lot of you guys (and gals) get frusterated because you are not putting on the type of muscle mass you would like to see.

Your workouts are crazy intense, your nutrition is on point, but you just CANT gain the muscle you want.

I understand that frustration as well. I have gotten lots of definition and gotten ripped, but I really want to put on size!
